SEO Copywriting

SEO copywriting services for the pages that have to rank and sell at the same time

Written to a keyword brief, a service page ranks and reads like a list. Written as pure sales copy, it converts the few who find it and ranks for nothing. The way out is that the objections a buyer raises and the queries they type are the same list.

Money pages written around the decision a buyer is making, which is also what they are searching for on the way to making it.

The basics

What are SEO copywriting services?

SEO copywriting services write the commercial pages of a site, the ones that exist to sell something: service pages, product and category pages, comparison and alternatives pages, and the homepage. They have to rank for what buyers search and persuade the buyer once they arrive, which are usually treated as competing requirements and are not.

This is the money-page half of content work. Articles and guides written to earn traffic sit on SEO content writing, and the technical elements applied to pages you already have sit on on-page SEO.

The core problem

Two jobs, and most pages only do one

Commercial pages tend to arrive from one of two directions, and each produces a recognisable failure.

Written to a keyword brief

The target term appears in the title, the headings and at a prescribed density. The page ranks, visitors arrive, and it reads like a document assembled to contain words rather than to help anybody decide. Traffic goes up and enquiries do not.

Written as sales copy

Confident, well-structured, 250 words, no mention of price, no comparison, none of the specifics people search for. It converts the visitors it gets and it gets very few, because there is nothing on the page for a search engine to match against a real question.

The usual response is to negotiate between them, adding a bit of keyword coverage to the sales copy and a bit of persuasion to the SEO copy. That produces a page that is slightly worse at both jobs, which is why so many service pages read like a compromise nobody is happy with.

The reframe that removes the trade-off: stop treating the keyword list and the sales argument as separate inputs. The questions a buyer needs answered before committing are, almost item for item, the questions they type into a search engine while deciding. Price, suitability, risk, proof, alternatives. Answer those properly and you have written a page that ranks because it is genuinely the best answer, and converts because it addressed the actual hesitation.

Method

The objections that are also the queries

These five recur across almost every considered purchase. Each one is a section a buyer needs and a family of searches they run.

What does it cost?

The most searched and most avoided question on commercial pages. A page with no pricing signal loses to one that gives a range and explains what moves it, and the search demand for cost terms is usually the largest of the set.

Will it work for me?

Buyers filter by their own situation: their size, their industry, their platform. This is where specificity earns both the ranking and the belief, because generic reassurance matches neither.

What if it goes wrong?

Guarantees, terms, what happens if it does not work, how to leave. Risk questions are asked quietly and searched openly, and answering them plainly removes the reason to keep looking.

How does it compare?

Comparison and alternatives searches happen whether or not you address them. If your page does not, someone else answers the question about you, and you have no say in how.

Who else has done this?

Proof answers the credibility question and supplies the specific detail that makes a page distinctive. It is also the part competitors cannot copy, which matters more than it used to.

How long and what happens?

Timeline and process questions dominate searches close to the decision. A page that says what the first month looks like removes the last excuse to delay.

Process

How our SEO copywriting services run

Collect the real objections

From sales calls, support tickets, review sites and the questions your team answers weekly. This takes an afternoon and it is the difference between a page that sounds like you and one that sounds like everyone.

Map them to search demand

Each objection checked against what people actually type, which confirms the ones that carry volume and occasionally reveals a question you did not know buyers had.

Write the page as answers

Structured so each section resolves one question, in the order buyers raise them. Headings phrased as the question rather than as a label, because that is how the page gets matched and how it gets skimmed.

Edit for the person, then the query

Cut anything a competitor could have written, add the specifics only you can supply, and check coverage last. If keyword work is the final pass rather than the brief, the page keeps its voice.

The order matters. Writing to a keyword brief and adding personality afterwards does not work, because the structure was already decided by a list of terms rather than by a decision somebody is trying to make.

The hard part

Publishing your prices

Cost is usually the highest-demand query attached to a service and the one most companies refuse to answer on the page. The stated reason is that every project is different. The real effect is that buyers leave to find the number somewhere else, and the page loses to a competitor who gave a range.

A range with the variables explained does the job. It qualifies people out before they occupy your time, it answers the search, and it signals confidence. If a number genuinely cannot be given, say what it depends on and give a worked example, which is far better than silence and still ranks.

The same logic applies to comparisons. Buyers search for you against your competitors regardless. A page that states honestly where you are the wrong choice is more persuasive than one claiming to suit everybody, and it captures a set of queries most competitors are too nervous to answer.

Deliverables

What our SEO copywriting services include

Objection research

The real questions gathered from your sales conversations, support history and reviews, in the words your buyers use rather than the words your industry uses.

Query mapping

Each objection matched to search demand, so the page structure is justified by both what buyers ask and what people search, not by one at the expense of the other.

The page, written

Full copy for service, product, category, comparison or homepage, structured as answers, with the headings phrased the way people ask them.

Titles and descriptions

Written to be clicked rather than to be complete, sized so they do not truncate, and matched to what the page actually delivers.

Internal linking

Links in and out planned as part of the writing, so related pages support each other instead of competing for the same query.

Cannibalisation check

Confirmation that this page is not competing with something you already published, which is the most common reason a new commercial page fails to rank.

Written to be quoted

Clear definitions and direct answers near the top, which is what gets cited in AI answers and featured snippets. Specific, first-hand detail is what survives summarisation.

Schema-ready structure

FAQ and service content organised so it can be marked up properly rather than retrofitted into a shape it was never written for.

One revision round

Included and expected. The first draft is where we find out which claims you can actually stand behind, and that conversation usually improves the page.

Honest answer

When copywriting is not what you need

The page cannot rank yet

If the site has no authority for the topic at all, better copy will not overcome that alone. The page still needs writing, and it needs the rest of an SEO programme around it to compete.

The problem is technical

If the page is not indexed, is duplicated across parameters or loads slowly, fix that first. Rewriting copy on a page search engines are struggling with wastes the rewrite.

You have several pages on one topic

Where three pages target the same query, the fix is consolidation rather than new copy. Writing a fourth makes the problem worse and is a surprisingly common instruction.

It is a paid landing page

Pages built for ad traffic are usually best left out of the index and written purely to convert. That is landing page design, and the constraints are different.

Two quick checks before commissioning anything. Our keyword density checker will show whether an existing page is stuffed or thin, and the meta title and description previewer will show whether your listing is being truncated before the useful part.

Investment

How much do SEO copywriting services cost?

Priced per page, because commercial pages are researched individually rather than produced to a monthly word count. The research is most of the work and it is what makes the page different from a competitor.

Single page

$450 to $900. One service, product or comparison page, researched, written and structured, with title, description and internal links. Sensible for testing the approach on your most important page first.

Core page set

$2,500 to $6,000. Six to ten commercial pages written together so they support rather than compete, with a cannibalisation review across the set and a consistent argument throughout.

Full commercial rewrite

$6,000 upwards. Every money page on the site, including comparison and alternatives pages, with the internal linking structure rebuilt around them.

Cheaper per-word writing exists and it produces pages that read like every other page in your industry, because that is what writing without access to your sales conversations necessarily produces. The specifics are the value, and they cannot be sourced from a brief alone.

Common questions about SEO copywriting

Copywriting handles the commercial pages that exist to sell: services, products, categories, comparisons and the homepage. Content writing handles the articles and guides that earn traffic and build topical authority. Both need to rank, but the copy is judged on enquiries and the content is judged on whether it earns and holds attention.

Long enough to answer every question a buyer has before deciding, and no longer. In practice that lands somewhere between 1,200 and 2,500 words for a considered service, because there are usually five or six real objections and each needs a proper answer. Length is an output of covering the decision, never a target to hit.

Yes, at least a range with the variables explained. Cost is usually the highest-volume query attached to a service and the one competitors avoid. Publishing a range qualifies people out before they take up your time, answers the search, and reads as confidence. If you truly cannot give a number, explain what it depends on and give a worked example.

There is no target worth chasing, and writing toward one produces the stilted phrasing that makes a page obviously optimised. Use the term naturally where it belongs, including the heading and opening, then cover the related questions properly. If the page reads oddly when spoken aloud, it is over-optimised regardless of what any percentage says.

It can produce a competent draft of the parts everyone already agrees on, which is exactly the part that does not differentiate you. What it cannot supply is your pricing logic, your real objections, the case where you are the wrong choice, or the specific thing that happened on a project last year. Those are what make a commercial page persuasive and hard to copy.

If you have the standing to do it fairly, yes. Buyers run those searches anyway, and if you are absent someone else frames the comparison. The version that works states plainly who each option suits, including the cases where a competitor is the better fit. A comparison page claiming you win every category persuades nobody and reads as marketing.

Expect movement within four to eight weeks on pages that already have some standing, and considerably longer for pages starting from nothing or in competitive markets. A rewrite improves how well a page answers the query, which is one of several factors. If the site lacks authority for the topic entirely, the copy is necessary and not sufficient.
